Everything You Need to Know

We run one boat and we run it ourselves, so the answers here are specific rather than general. Captain, fuel for the agreed route and safety equipment are included on every charter. If something below does not cover your plan, ask us — the day is built around you.

What is included in the charter fee?

The boat, a licensed captain, fuel for the agreed route, and the safety equipment required by the US Coast Guard. Food, drinks and any extras you add — water toys, décor, a photographer — are quoted separately so you only pay for what you actually want.

Where do we depart from?

Our dock in Edgewater. It is a short drive from Downtown, Brickell and Miami Beach, with parking on site, and it puts you on Biscayne Bay within minutes instead of spending the first hour of your charter in transit. We send the exact address with your booking confirmation.

How many guests can come aboard?

The 450 Sundancer is set up for a comfortable day group rather than a packed deck. Tell us your headcount when you enquire and we will confirm it against the boat's certification before taking a booking.

How long does a charter usually last?

Most days run four to six hours, which is enough for a sandbar stop, a swim and a run along the skyline. Shorter sunset cruises and full days are both possible — the route is planned around the time you book.

Can I customise the route?

Yes, and most people do. Nixon Sandbar, Marine Stadium, Star Island and the Miami River are the usual anchors, and we will shape the order and the time spent at each around what you want out of the day.

What happens if the weather turns?

Safety decides. If conditions are not right we will offer you the next available date rather than run a day you would not enjoy. We watch the forecast and get in touch early instead of leaving you guessing.
